Anglers Advantage Fishing Charters June 08

100_1453Hey everyone another slow one this week, still a lot of fresh in the sunshine coasts waterway systems.Had Chris from Melbourne out on mooloolah river on Friday but a very slow day and reports all around the rivers were the same.Had Brent and his son Ricky from Caloundra out in the passage on Saturday in difficult windy conditions,it was the guys first time on soft plastics and after a slow start mastering their casting and retrieval techniques we managed to find a spot mid passage and the boys got a few Flathead,Brent also landing the bream pictured on a mandarin gold rack glider. The passage is still your best bet this next week to see a few fish and also the lower ends of Maroochy river from the David low bridge downwards,Noosa still contains lots of fresh and will be slow to clear though the bream should still turn up in the lower reaches. With all the brown water stick to your brighter colours like the mandarin gold in the softies or killer tomato in the squidgies.Tight lines and happy hunting,Brian from Anglers Advantage.
