anglers advantage fishing charters this week

100_1447Hi everyone unfortunately very little to report on the sunshine coast waterways this last week what with the deluge of rainwater we got into the systems early on in the week. The upper reaches of the maroochy, noosa and mooloolah river systems will take a while to get thier visibility back.

Had gary from ipswich out for a charter on friday morning but conditions were less than favourable and while there was a bit of clarity in the maroochy river mouth area we tried with a broad range of soft plastics but failed to raise the fish that we were getting in the previous few weeks.

This next week should begin to see a gradual clearance in the lower river systems and the bream that are moving along the coast should begin to fire in the rivers, keep your jigheads as light as possible and also your flurocarbon leader,i recommend berkley 2'' powergrubs, softie rackgliders, squidgy shads and wrigglers in a variety of colours depending on the prevailing conditions. Will get our free report posted for you all shortly, keep posted and tight lines,Brian from anglers advantage fishing tours, see you on the sunshine coast waterways shortly!
